A charity fundraiser in aid of 'The Michelle Jurd Memorial Trust' it's called 'Go Quackers around Grange' from Saturday 14th July- Friday 31st August there are 46 life size ducks in the Windows of businesses all through thr town for visitors and residents to follow via a Map available from the Tourist Information Centre and local businesses £2.00 each. They all have different themes and add a bit of fun exploring Grange.They will then be auctioned off at a ticket only event at the Grange Hotel on Saturday 9th September at 2.00pm, with Afternoon Tea and childrens entertainer. Tickets are £7 for Adults and £4 available from Pauline on 0797689826.
All money from the Trust goes to Local School/Walking Wounded and R.A.F. Benevolent Fund. Michelle was in the R.A.F. The Trust aims to encourage local children to be inspired by canoeing, sailing,climbing, music and dance hopefully to open new horizons for the children.
