A charity fundraiser in aid of ' The Michelle Jurd Memorial Trust' it's called ' Go Quackers around Grange ' from Saturday 14th July - Friday 31st August there will be 46 life size ducks in the windows of businesses all through the Town for visitors and residents to follow via a Map £2. They will all have different themes and add a bit of fun to exploring Grange. They will then be Auctioned off at a ticket only event at The Grange Hotel Saturday 9th September at 2.00p.m. with Afternoon Tea and childrens entertainer. Tickets adults £7 and Children £4 available from Pauline 07976898626.
All money for the Trust goes to Local School / Walking Wounded and R.A.F. Benevolent Fund. Michelle was in The R.A.F. and led a very adventurous life and loved the outdoors but also loved music. The Trust aims to encourage local children to be inspired by canoeing,sailing,climbing,music and dance hopefully to open new horizons for the children.
