This year it will be 80 years since the Bandstand was removed from its original location on the promenade to the specially built gardens of Park Road.
Besses O'Th'Barn who played at the opening of the Park in 1929 will be playing in the Bandstand on Sunday 21st June at 2pm to round off a week of special events.
Other events planned are:
- Friday 12th June Michael Conradd Dance in the Victoria Hall 7.30pm - 10pm. Please bring your own refreshmants
- Saturday 13th June Edwardian Festival in the Park. 10am - 4pm
- Sunday 14th June Flookburgh Brass Band in the Park 2 - 4pm (if wet in Victoria Hall)
- Wednesday 17th June Grange Civic Society presents: "A Glimpse of Old Grange". Slide Show in the Victoria Hall 8pm
- Friday 19th June Grange Youth Theatre in the Park 7.30pm (if wet in the Victoria Hall)
- Saturday 20th June Music Hall by Grange Opera & Grange Drama Societies in the Victoria Hall 8pm.
- Sunday 21st June Besses O'Th Barn in the Park 2 - 4pm (if wet in the Victoria Hall)
- Sunday 21st June Churches Together Songs of Praise with Besses O'Th Barn in the Victoria Hall 6.30pm.
